1/ New Column Support
We now support almost 3 dozen different metrics for our stock screener. All values also now use Trailing Twelve Month values for a more value investing oriented long term.
Columns supported now include: Marketcap, Enterprise Value, PE Ratio, PEG Ratio, Price to Book, Price to Sales, Price to FCF, Price to OCF, Price to EBITDA, Earnings Yield, Dividend Yield, Gross Profit Margin, ROIC, Return on Assets, Return on Equity, Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Debt Ratio, Cashflow to Debt, Interest Coverage, Income Quality, Inventory Turnover, FCF Yield, Altman Z Score, Piotroski Score, and much more!
View them all in our newly revamped Analyze page.
Or play around with different combinations using our curated Presets as a starting point.
2/ Market Cap Analysis
A brand new feature is our charts that plot historical market cap along with historical earnings.
Plotting market cap rather than price allows the values to be plotted together on the same Y axis and allows investors to easily see how the current P/E ratio compares to its historical average.
Here for example we can see that AAPL still remains fairly elevated relative to its historical average every since the pandemic. The recent pullback moves it closer in line with its earnings but it’s still relatively overpriced given the expected plateauing of earnings going forward.
In addition to comparing market cap earnings, we also have support for Sales, Book Value, Free Cash Flow, and Operating Cash Flow.
Both annual and quarterly earnings are supported. Try it out free here.
As always feedback and feature requests can be sent to support@theory-a.com or to me directly at dj@theory-a.com
Best,
David
